SUNDAYS: 9:00 & 10:30 AM
What to expect:
HighPoint has a very laid back and friendly atmosphere. If you like to dress up, go for it. You will also feel just as comfortable in a pair of jeans. We have weekly Sunday morning services at 9:00 & 10:30. Services typically run about an hour long and childcare is provided during those times. At 10:00 AM we also have a fellowship time between services where we serve coffee and snacks. This time serves as a space for us to get to know one another better. We have Sunday School for Kindergarten through 6th grades & adults during both worship times. We also have a youth service that happens during the 10:30 AM service.
We have parking available all around the church campus with handicap parking located near the entrance of our church building. We reserve parking spots for first-time guests, so if you're new to HighPoint, be sure to turn on your flashers when you enter the parking lot.
We strive to provide a safe environment for kids and families. If you bring your kids, you’ll check them in and out each Sunday in our Check-In room using a special labeling system and our security volunteers will monitor the halls during the service. Babies and toddlers are cared for by loving volunteers. There is a preschool room and Kids’ Church for Kindergarten through sixth grade. All of our kids ministry volunteers must pass background checks and have a heart for kids and families.
We know visiting a new church can be intimidating, that’s why we have a greeting team who would love to meet you and show you around! We don’t always recognize the first-time visitors because so many of the people who come are still fairly new, so feel free to say, “This is my first time” and we’ll guide you in! We’d also love to give you a gift as a first-time guest!
We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing! We want you to feel welcome just as you are!
Our teaching is centered on the person of Jesus, the message of God’s grace, and inspired from the Bible. We believe in teaching directly from the Bible and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak through our pastoral team. We don’t just want to just give you information, but teach for transformation that will equip you to live a life empowered for Jesus!
Our services have music that is lively. Don’t be surprised when some people raise their hands as a sign of praise while singing, and don’t feel obligated to do so yourself. We create an atmosphere of freedom in our services.
